This was very helpful. I especially agree with the notion that starting beginners on saxophone isn't the best plan. It's easy to "play" the sax, but difficult to play it well. I'm experiencing this as I have switched some clarinetists over and they took off but have not remained somewhat stagnant. Thanks James!
